Recently, I was asked about training, so I figured I'd give a VERY basic guide how to go about. Training is a process and should only be used in cases of a relationship. You are investing time and effort into changing behaviors that are ingrained from a time before you came along, or have developed from years of being allowed to act inappropriate. NEVER TRY AND CHANGE PLATES. Do you think the jugglers the metaphor comes from tries to fix any of their broken plates?

What do you expect from her? This includes the good and the bad. If she doesn't know what behavior is good or bad, she will not be able to live up to your expectations. She needs to know she can achieve your good graces so she knows when she falls out of them e.g. "I've known a lot of barflies, their behavior was disgusting." "I could not stay in a relationship that was sexless." "I love when you rub my back after a long week." What you want or expect need to be known. If you cannot express this to her, she's just a plate.

Bad behavior: When it comes to discipline, it comes down to your relationship. If you're in this guide, you already have an idea what behavior needs to change. Whatever that may be it is still important to remember a few things. YOUR ADMONISHMENT SHOULD NOT BE PHYSICAL. If you ever feel the need to hit her, why are you with her? She should never have affected your frame enough for you to act irrationally. Discipline is a delicate act, too little response will only enforce the negative behavior, too much and you'll be overreacting. You need the Frame to be able to stand strongly against not only bad behavior, but shit tests as well.

Good behavior: there's a reason I went over bad behavior first. Discipline done right can strengthen their desire for you, increasing the likelihood of good behavior. DO NOT OVER REWARD BEHAVIOR AT ANY POINT. This will cause a sense of entitlement and expectation. It's also important to taper the reward as the good behavior becomes prevalent. You expect good behavior, she should not expect a reward. At the same time, if her behavior is especially good over a period of time, a nice reward may be adequate. Once again it comes down to your relationship.

If you've read this far, you've gained a VERY general idea on training. You're relationship will be different and you could be the captain of it, but only with the reflection necessary to know what you want, the courage to stand up to negative behavior, and the temperance to reward positive. A final thought, IF IT'S TOO MUCH TROUBLE, IT'S NOT WORTH IT. You are only tied to your investment as much as you invest. Sometimes it's easier to just drop her.

Tl;dr Read the fucking post.
