Start now.
If you keep waiting until "the right time," it will never be the right time.

Dear Baby Beluga,
Stop giving yourself excuses. Life's too short to waste time making up bullshit reasons for why you can't do something. Believe me, there's enough people willing to whisper negatives in your ear without having your internal monologue bringing you down.
You "still see yourself as too fat" for what? For the life you "deserve"? For the type of women in your life that you "deserve"? You don't deserve shit. You have to work at it. You've been working hard for four months. Keep at it. Now start working smart. Build up your game until its naturally who you are. Start right fucking now.

There is no goal, fitness is a moving target. The attitude you should have is "more". If you are doing 10 reps, when you get to 9 you should say to yourself... "Can I do 2 more?"... then when you get to 11... "Can I do 2 more?"... "Can I do 2 more?"... "Can I do 2 more?"... When you want to get in the best shape of your life you cannot be satisfied with these arbitrary goals you set. You need to continue to push yourself in the moment and never leave the gym feeling satisfied. Too many guys push to failure and call it a day. You must push to "failure" multiple times. Judge your progress by how many times you can get to "failure". It is the same with women.

I think High Intensity Interval training will help him drop the fat faster. Then start lifting.

Why not do both?
Lifting is like high interval intensity training in a way and he can do the running on off days. However lifting builds muscle which in turn increases the calories your body requires and makes it easier to lose weight by being in a deficit.

I read your post and I have no fucking idea what are you on about. Could you rephrase it?

I'm fat and wondering if I should start working on my game or keep focussing on my body.

Both are important, but in the long run I choose body over game, health and longevity over pickup artistry. Also, I think, that gaming with a proper body will be easier

It's not where you start but where you end up.Take confidence in the fact you're on an upward trajectory, and make sure you always are.
Weight is only one facet, make sure you're always learning or perfecting a new skill.Always be moving forward.

Fix yourself man. There's a lot of areas that you can work at. Don't focus on just the weight loss but don't let it slip either. The thing that you are looking for is validation. It's what everyone wants. If you go out and practice game as a fatty you are at a disadvantage. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't try to get with a woman, but you need to know that it is working against you. Don't let it discourage you because you know where you are going to be soon as far as weight loss. Also remember that you have no one to blame about your situation but yourself and no one is going to fix it but you.

I know that TRP often talks about doing things in tandem (gym it, spin it, fuck it, next it, repeat), but that's when all those goals will require a similar amount of effort to practice and perfect.
In this case, you are overweight, and you need to tackle that problem with all your strength. Figure out what you need to do to drop the weight, tackle it head on, destroy it, build a body that is healthy, proportionate, and where you can ground yourself for TRP challenges to come. Don't go for perfection, get yourself healthy.
I'd start to lose the weight, I don't care what some people will say, being fat is a huge disadvantage in the dating game. Being let's say a 5 and implementing game will still give you shit tons of failure. Being a 7 will give you much better results. Best way to lose weight, exercise and cut out all foods you know are bad for you: Sugary sweets, sodas, burgers, pizza, fries, etc. Sugar is the main killer though, avoid sugar like the plague.
