From the story you've told, I'd be less inclined to push for TRP or ATRP ect. but push for him to relise that he is in a huge fight that he can very well lose the next 15-20 years to.
Screw the car, get Bob Saget to a Divorce attorney ASAP that will drive home how fucked he is if he expects 'the charmed life' to carry him through this.

I hope he atleast partially understands TRP ideas from his own life experience, even if he never ever visits this sub-reddit. Looks and high smv will slowly start declining even for men . And about money, who knows when the downfall regarding that will come - recession, alimony, even hospital bills .

These stories are common. Women like that seek out top men. I dated a bpd once, and yes i can verify they are abusive evil cunts. Im talking violence, false accusations, cheating and theft are common. You know what one of the easiest ways to verify if they have BPD? A criminal background check. Their goal is absolute control of their significant other at all costs. Which usually means destroying them. Problem is you dont see the real them until its too late.
Ps tell bob to start recording all of their interactions. Best way is cell phone in pocket recording, if she sees he is recording she will start playing a script out to make him look abusive in his own recording.
