I tend to agree with 90% of the stuff I read here. The truths learned here have been invaluable to me.

That said, I don't agree with some of the advice regarding giving her compliments. Let me first say, that you never fucking compliment them unless they are behaving properly. But, if they are pleasant and acting like a good second mate, then I believe we should be rewarding them with the occasional compliment... even out of the blue.

Take Maxim #101: Compliments breed complacency. Critique breeds conciliation. A woman will never work as hard for a man’s approval as when his approval is most elusive.

This to me is just being a dick. I really don't think its necessary to create an environment where she's always working for my approval. That's fucked up. All I am looking for is to be treated with the appropriate level of respect.
