A recent study found that people with an IQ of about 110 were far more likely to be virgins than those with average intelligence. (Link)

This might come as a surprise, right? Surely intelligence is a desirable biological trait? I mean isn't it shocking that women are choosing mates without considering something as important to modern success as intelligence? But if attraction and gender roles are socially conditioned like everyone is always telling me, wouldn’t intelligence have shifted to become the most attractive trait? Are you shocked?

You might be shocked, at least, if you've never seen the inside of a nightclub.

This is something so many humans willfully deny to themselves. That women (and men) are animals, particularly when it comes to dating. We sugar coat this with so many polite delusions about soul-mates and true love that it almost starts to feel a bit like a religious dogma for just how disconnected and yet entrenched it is in the minds of the masses.

So what is the point of understanding content vs vibe? Well, you can start with the obvious understanding that sexy girls don't go to clubs scantily clad and in full makeup to listen to some guy talk about telescopes. You could literally be a fucking young Galileo in the prime flowering of your brilliant, world-changing curiosity and intellect, and women would reject you 9/10 in a ton of social situations: situations where content means nothing, situations that amount to about 90% of modern dating first-contacts.

You see, it matters absolutely nothing what you know about telescopes, at least not in a casual social situation where women are trying to hook up. Content is often seen by women as a provider trait. If you are struggling with this: imagine a saber tooth tiger attacking, and you there trying to use your knowledge of Javascript to defend yourself and your woman. You’ll start to get a peek into what is really going on here in a woman’s subconscious. Your content, which is what you know and what you intellectually have to offer, means nothing versus your vibe. It’s the reason conversations of substance don't take place in nightclubs (besides the annoyingly loud music). Because women are looking to hook up, and hooking up is 100% vibe and virtually 0% content for the majority of humanity. Is this a sad and philistine way to look at life? Is it cynical? Biology just doesn’t give a damn about your feelings.

Women, 9/10, do a lot of what they do for the vibe— the vibe of the club, the vibe of their friends, and the vibe of whatever men are in attendance. Vibe is a feeling, an illogical set of stimuli that can be hard for system oriented men to understand. Hell, I don’t really understand it in my brain. Which is probably why intelligence doesn’t help you get laid.

So what is it? Wtf is vibe? If you've spent much time around animals, you realize that they are all about vibe. Angry? Your dog most likely picks up on it and responds with his own fear vibe of a tail between the legs. Horses can't speak English, but they certainly respond to a soothing tone of voice and steady, self-assured body language on the part of the handler.

Really, people are the same way when it comes to sex. We all pick up on vibes, and when it comes down to it your vibe pretty much all starts in your emotions and not in your brain. Sometimes, the act of stopping your thoughts and just following your dick for a second really is good advice. But it depends on what you want out of life I suppose.

Anyway, the point of this post is not to teach you how to "vibe", because clearly that means different things to different people, and I've never been great at it myself, the point is to relieve you of some of the brainwashing the “social construct” people have been shoveling at you, and to get society to stop fucking moving the goal posts on you when they tell you to "just be yourself and you'll meet the right girl."

Because no goddammit, the real you probably loves telescopes, or fishing, or model trains, or literature, or banjo- or whatever the fuck it is. The deep thing inside men that makes them the creators, the builders, the people who become so obsessed with one thing such that they take us to the moon, or win the war, or write 12 part symphonies. Remember this: your content is yours. It has nothing to do with women. Stop trying to use it to get women. You are using the wrong tool for the job.
