Thinking about my past I noticed that I always had a bad feeling when following given "beta-like" advice like doing dinner on first dates (or dates at all). But it's what everyone says and does and what you read on the Internet. So why should I with little to no experience know better? So I ignored the bad feelings and followed the given advice with the expected results. The highlight being the end of my first LTR where I brought roses to "the relationship talk" aka break-up. It did not help at all of course...

The problem is that this is a vicious cycle. You never gain experience due to bad advice but because you lack experience you follow the bad advice. Sooner than later the your self-esteem and confidence sinks to a new low which makes you trust even less in your own subconscious judgment that the "beta-way" is bad. The only way out is a major event in a betas life, like the first break-up (heart-broken) or a divorce.

I think that is way the red pill helps so much. It is instantly rewarding. "OMG, I was right all along! Not me is the problem, everyone else is!" Instant confidence boost.
