Edit: OK. I'll elaborate. As far as I'm aware there is nothing in RP theory that states betas can't be dominant in bed so there is no special need for RP to account for your kind of relationship.

I will offer a theory about what's going on in your relationship. You've figured out what your gf likes in bed either by her explicitly telling you or by her hinting what she wants or, you have a subconscious desire to be dominant that you've expressed physically that she has responded to favourably. Let's get something straight: not everything is cut and dry.
