Expanding on the fake alpha

I recently read /u/askerman97 's post on the fake alpha, and I believe that there's more to this idea than we realize.

The fake alpha thrives in today's world where masculinity is regarded as "toxic" or "fragile". They thrive by putting you down in an environment where it is nearly impossible to stand up for yourself without being labelled an overly-aggressive asshole by our gynocentric society.

However, these fake alphas can be curtailed by true alphas, either guys with actual self confidence, who don't need to stoop to their level to best them in a social interaction, or guys who are solidly built, and naturally intimidate the fakes before they start their pissing contests.

tl;dr: Fake alphas thrive by preying on the weak. Disregard them and you will be recognized.
