I don't presume to dictate to you how to interact with the sizable portion of the population that finds themselves several times your weight and feeling just dandy about it. The topic of this post is about the myth of dietary fat pulled over our eyes for the last several decades. We've been fooled into thinking that eating fat makes you fat just as surely as we've been fooled into thinking women want sniveling beta doormats over the alpha "assholes".

The notion that dietary fat, saturated fat in particular, is somehow the source of all health ills and the principle cause of obesity, is a fucking lie based on a cherry picked study by Ancel Keys where high fat intake was attributed to increased rates of heart disease. The result was decades of government propaganda to reduce American fat intake and increase carbohydrate intake. They succeeded in this, and look where we are now.

I urge you all to take a deeper look into what fats are truly good for you and not the cookie cutter "cut down on all red meats" bs you're fed by mainstream health resources. You owe it to yourself to provide your body with optimal ratios of macro nutrients and micro nutrients. Cut out all vegetable oils and sugar, especially high fructose corn syrup. Avoid low-fat anything, as manufacturers simply replace the fat with sugar to make it taste good.

Reclaim your diet, reclaim your life.
