First off this isn't about whose the better fighter or who should have won. This is about how Floyd Mayweather to me can be seen as an RP example. I don't follow Floyd or boxing and this is the first time I've seen him fight, but nonetheless I noticed he displayed some RP traits. Oh and POTENTIAL SPOILERS

He played the villain role well. It didn't matter to him whether the crowd liked or approved of his strategy to win. Winning was his goal and he let nothing hold him back even if it means having lots of people hate you. Dude was Machiavellian as fuck too. It looked like He had Manny by the strings the whole time the way he was taunting and toying around with him(just what i assumed, i dont know shit about boxing). Although he was coming off arrogant and fighting with his "cowardly" style, it looked like he was able to get in Manny's head and have him play into his frame which resulted him the win.

Now I'm not saying swallowing the pill is all about winning and using every strategy you can including cheating to win. And I'm not here to assume that Floyd won 100% and is the greatest blahblahblah.. Not here to discuss about that shit. Anyway, TRP is definitely more than just winning. But I'm just saying, just like Floyd, sometimes it's better to win even if it means you're categorized as the villain or loser by the majority instead of being the people's champ who wins everyone's hearts and doesn't technically win and ends up being butt hurt(not implying manny is butt hurt/less of a champ/beta).

I'm not Floyd fan boy, just honestly thought he displayed RP traits. Not bashing on Manny either. I think both are amazing fighters. Feel free to share what you think. I'm certain some of you guys can clarify better or share more interesting views. Let's just not turn this into a fucking debate and just focus on TRP.
