Correction. Half of the movie is incredibly Red Pill. The romance half of the movie is incredibly Blue Pill, transitioning into Red Pill through hardship.

From start to finish the movie is about a man and overcoming struggle and being stronger at the end of it because of said struggle. During these struggles he manages to exceed peoples expectations by miles, and even save the lives of fellow countrymen, all while being severely physically (leg braces) and mentally (slow as a peanut) disadvantaged.

From beginning to end the movie is about the evolution of a man who people tell that he is not fit for this world, and him proving them wrong 10 fold. Your kids legs don't work, fuck you they work better than normal kids, youll see. Your kid won't be able to have a normal life, fuck you hes getting a football scholarship and going to serve this country. Saves lives and even meets the damn president himself.

The only blue pill aspect of this movie is on the romance end and that is purely just the typical hardship most guys end up going through, getting worked over by some oneitis because her shit smells like butterflies. Eventually post wall Jenny comes crawling back to him now that he raised his SMV so high. He breaks frame a bit and scares her off, but eventually she learns that he once again rose his SMV and became famous for his running shenanigans.

She has effectively been Alpha Widowed by her own doing and gets in contact with him again. He learns that he knocked her up and has a child. The movie ends with bagging and tagging her. Then him taking care of his own flesh and blood that the harpy left behind when she died.

Mother fucker was red pill to his core, and even did right in raising his own kids. The only problem was he wasn't mentally equipped to understand how shitty women are. Outside of that he was a bad ass, even if he was a little bit retarded.

tl;dr don't let hollywood scare you away from your favorite movie. Just look deeper. The romance wasn't the only part of the movie you should be taking away from it. But there are lessons to be learned even from that part.

There's not a lot of rp coming out of Hollywood. Even action heroes are generally out of control types driven by emotion. And these are supposed to be our role models/fantasy selves?
