last night I fully realized the importance of holding frame. I have spent so much time worrying about gave because I lack so much, I never thought about the power of frame.

last week I chatted up a waller while out for dinner. she loved me and asked for my number, first time ever. set up a date for this week and she canceled. rescheduled for the next night and she shows. we meet for a drink at the place we first met. instead of eating there we head over to a brewery that I enjoy because there is supposed to be a good truck there. turns out the food truck was double booked and canceled. I held frame, wowed her with my beer knowledge and suggested a restaurant down the road. we eat, drink and talk. the check comes and I don't even acknowledge it. after a while she picks it up and looks at it. after a while longer she grabs her purse and starts shuffling through, pulls out a few bills and stuff them in the check holder. I still hold frame and never even mention or flinch at any of it. free meal and drink.

TLDR; held frame, paid for one of my drinks and a flight of beers at the brewery and she paid for everything else.
