I just came across this and I'm not sure if it has been posted here before. Brian Banks was falsely accused of rape at Long Beach Poly and he spent 5 years in prison of those charges. He was an all star recruit with an full scholarship to USC and all of this was flushed down the drain when he was falsely accused. The accuser was caught on tape recant in her allegations, but she didn't want to go public because she was afraid of having to repay the 1.5M settlement thst the school district awarded her as a teenager. What astonishing is that it's been a year since Banks has been cleared of all charges, but many are wondering why has nothing happened to the woman who made the false accusation and ruined this young boys life. The good news is that Banks has recived a contract with the Falcons after he was cleared a bit ago.
