Edit: Proof I'm not just some fatty

Yes, you read that right... The business end of a knife saved my life and it has absolutely everything to do with what you read here on this subreddit. You might be asking yourself if I'm serious right now, or just an idiot for drawing that seemingly random event to the knowledge I've gained here. (to answer that second question yes, obviously I'm an idiot... I managed to get myself stabbed so that was probably your first clue) But, let this idiot learn you a thing. Specifically, let me share with you the epiphany that changed my life. It was only after I was stabbed and I had this conversation that I was finally able to have "clicking" moment so to speak. Now if you saw my first post I spoke about how I was an absolute ham planet. Precisely 462lbs at my heaviest. Seriously girls wouldn't even let me be their beta orbiter because they would have been caught in my gravitational field. Without boring you with a full recount of that original post let's just suffice to say I'm now a healthy and fit individual who can once again see his own dick (feels good man).

The moment: I had been in and out of consciousness for the past 7 or so hours, repeated surgeries, questions from the police... The gauntlet challenge so to speak. I hardly remember being stabbed in itself... but I sure as hell remember what I learned. The room was quiet and I was just sort of processing the recent events when a doctor who I somewhat recognised took a seat next to me. He congratulated me on surviving and protecting my friends and then just sat there awkwardly for a moment. Then he addressed the elephant in the room. (me) He was blunt, and at the time I thought he was just being an asshole. He told me that the only time this weight had done anything good for me was that day. Then he looked at me and sighed and said: "Listen, kid, you got lucky today... but I promise if you eat like this for five more years that luck will run out real quick." I was pissed at this point. Francis rage pissed but then before I could scream "muh genetics" he continued "A colleague of mine once said that it's time like this that we are able to really make progress. It's during the worst days of our lives that we are able to make the most profound and positive differences between ourselves and the world." And before I could verbally defecate a reply he left the room. I have and will never let myself feel like that again... The shame of someone who has just finished using everything in their power to keep you in your own miserable existence telling you to get your shit together is tremendous.

So what's the moral?: For many of us, our rock bottom is where it starts. So when you lose motivation in the beginning, remember that feeling. When you lack focus, remember that pain. most importantly when the shit hits the fan look for the opportunity... I guarantee there is one... Capitalise on that shit and you are one step closer to become Chad Thundercock.

Pics of myself currently so we know I'm not just some fat poser- https://m.imgur.com/gj9zAHd
