Just because you try to emulate an alpha doesn't mean you are an alpha.
Meaning that how you behave isn't always how you'll be perceived. That's why I say that taking yourself too seriously is social death; You can risk overreacting/missing context and end up the joke of the night regardless.
Just having fun with it, however, means that you treat both situations with equal amounts of fucks given. If someone is shit testing you, you'll pass. If they aren't, you'll just have comedic timing. If they are mocking you, you won't give a fuck anyway because you're entertaining yourself more than they are. If they get bored of you or a situation doesn't pan out, you can say you had fun doing it and move on to someone else. win/win/win

side note there’s something about people watching and talking about other people with a girl that somehow elevates you two above everyone else, it’s a beautiful process
yeah girls always love when you frame it so it feels like you're in a secret club, quietly talking shit about strangers, the two of us vs the world, etc.
