I have a buddy who I used to work with who we will call Billy. Billy had been in a relationship with his now wife since their high school days. You could call them high school sweethearts. Billy is now 26 years old.

Billy and I worked together 2 years ago and were good friends. He was one of those generally really nice guys, liked to work out, and was a good looking fellow. But was awful blue pill. He would take a call from his now wife at any time of the day no matter what he was doing. He bought a house and let her live in it with him for years before he popped the question. Even bought the girl a new dog and car. He was the textbook husband, baby!

There were times that he and I had gone out for beers and he had opportunities to take decent looking women home to smash, but he always had his young lady on his mind and would never do it. He even showed a broad at a bar the ring he was going to buy his lover and she still tried to lag his ass out of the bar to bed, be he refused. Billy always told me how she was the one and he didn’t have any interest in other women no matter how easy they were.

Billy and his young women got married in the middle of the summer and I was fortunate enough to get the invitation. Billy’s wife is in school to land a nice job in the healthcare industry, an excellent position for a women. She also works as a ball girl for a professional sports team on the side. Many of those other young women were invited to the wedding and were soooo proud of her for getting married to her high school sweetheart. Yippee! They seemed to be the perfect couple if you didn’t know any better.

I recently found out that Billy’s wife was no innocent, loving, faithful women. A friend of mine who goes to school with her has said that Billy’s wife has slept with the ball team she works for and has been doing it on multiple occasions and she WASN’T shy about letting this out. Billy’s wife also has asked Billy for an open relationship for a year or so because “they missed” that part of their lives. That she thought it Billy declined and said that he didn’t want to, that he loved her and didn’t want to be with anyone else. This was all before he got engaged. If only he had paid attention to these signs.

I laughed to myself thinking back at the wedding, about all of the other ball girls there cheering their friend on for marrying her high school sweetheart. For marrying the guy of her dreams, the perfect love story. I just cant get passed how those girls act like her extra curricular activities on the ball field never happened.

I can only imagine what the future holds for my pal. I don’t have the heart to tell him because his blue pull mask will never believe me. Guys, please do not let emotion trump your logically thinking. You know logically that staying with a girl is not the correct path, because of red flags or disrespect. Pay attention to those. If the girl will cheat on you now, she will cheat on your dumbass later!
