If you know it's going to be a one night stand. Never use your real name. And go back to her place. That way if decides to put in a false rape charge she does not know where you live or what your name is.

I fear that the false rape accusation is becoming the TRP bogeyman.

I agree, but it's understandable. It's a terrifying concept. It's like going back to the 50s when anyone could be called out as a communist and you're just fucked with no way to defend yourself. Friends and family turn their backs on you, your life as you know it is over.
Is this likely to happen to any given person? No, you're right, it's not, but it's still a scary possibility and it does happen with some regularity.

The boogeyman is a monster manifested by the imagination of children and quickly dies off upon the realization that it does not exist.
False rape accusations are very real and a very possible outcome by implementing any sort of sexual strategy in this day and age. If you want to pretend it isn't real, that's on you and I hope you tread very carefully in all your sexual encounters in the future. For the rest of us, a little protection never hurt anybody.

Another aspect of the bogeyman is irrational fear of an imagined or low probability event.
I am not afraid of a meteor impact, not because such things are imaginary, but because they happen very rarely and can affect only a small population.
Is fear of a false rape accusation rational or irrational, considering the number of rape accusations, and especially false ones? I dont know, but without the numbers it's all fear, uncertainty and doubt that may keep men from getting laid.
I don't have an answer.

Context is everything.
You're more likely to face a false-rape accusation in college, at parties, or in the hook-up scene. If you engage in those circles then yes, absolutely protect yourself. Fuck the law, film and confirm everything.
In so many words...If you spin plates within large social circles, know what you're doing.
There's your answer.

Roughly half of rape accusations are false, so while it's not something everyone needs to worry about, it's prevalent enough that you should be careful.

The ability to falsely accuse you of rape is a woman's power over you. Whether or not she does follow through, any woman that's aware of this tactic can still use it to exert control or influence over a man. This is a series of steps towards equalizing that power.

Have a breathalyzer and a blank written contract available at all times to be filled in by her, including a pre-sex video taped interview like they do for porn shoots.
Or don't stick your dick in crazy.

If you want to be less obvious. Make your phone easy to put on voice recording. Go to toilet, put in on record, come back, pull it out pocket and put on bedside table. Just talk dirty and some shit so she does back.

Need to be carful with this, some states like Florida have wire tapping laws.
