I'd rather wait for a reasonable amount of time like 4-6 months and present all the details to the boss with a clear question: Hey guys, I have earned you enough money, will you give me a raise? If the answer is no, then retreat to another company that will value your skills more.

Drop out too early and you will risk marking your CV as "This guy likes to confront people and could not hold to that position for even 3 months". They will not even try to rationalize why you dropped out, just mark you as a jerk and toss you away.

Your mileage may vary though, I am telling you stuff from my perspective where the HR department in my country is mainly composed from " independent wimminz" AKA crazy bitches. Sadly, AWALT.

Does your employer have scheduled performance appraisals?

If so, and it's coming up soon, start prepping now to discuss your direct impact on revenue and bring up compensation adjustment.

If not, get in touch with your boss and schedule a time to speak with them about your performance and your impact on the company's results.

If a case study can concretely show your results (remember correlation does not necessary equal causation) then that would be a great start. If it can be presented without divulging sensitive internal information and your meeting does not end with the result you wanted, you can always ride out the $55k a year while interviewing elsewhere, using those results as a measure of the impact you would have in an organization.

EDIT: /u/Dimsml has a good point in that you don't want to hop out too early (not sure how much worth prior employers carry in your field). Burning bridges is never a good idea, but it's a delicate balance between recognizing your worth and pursuing it, and not inviting those who could come back to haunt you in the future to do so.
