Incorporating TRP is not an overnight process.

I have been incorporating RP into my life for a while now, near a year. I've recently started taking control over my body and conquering my morbid obesity (I was peaking at over 500lb, I haven't weighed myself recently, but it's much better, likely down 50 or so in the past 4 or so months of dieting). My confidence has been up, I've been dressing better, and most notably, I am no longer nearly as bad of an orbiter as I once was.

I would go full neckbeard for women, I wanted a Disney romance. I tried to spoil the women in my life in order to earn sex, I paid them all the attention in the world. And it never worked out.

Since I've been taking control of my life, I have noticed women starting to be attractive to me. A 'plate' I've kept casual contact with messaged me last night. I was not pursuing anything with her at the time, she was dating someone, so I kept things light and moderately infrequent, with enough contact to make her think of me when they inevitably broke up.

And they did last night.

And she called me.

I was already hanging out with friends and I wasn't about to cancel plans with them to fly to her rescue. I told her she could meet us in a few hours at a restaurant and we could talk then. She did, and we were chatting and it was going wonderfully. She was holding on to my arm and nuzzling up to me, and I, in as much of a blue pill beta provider mentality as I could must said "Not to come off as the guy who tries to swoop in after a break up, but if you want a place to crash tonight, you could come to my place, I could crash on the couch. Or if you don't mind, we could sleep in the same bed."

To keep and even longer story short, she didn't leave with me. I found out that she actually went and slept at my best friend's house. So the sting I feel from that is fairly harsh, but I will internalize that. I won't make the same mistake again.

Red Pill isn't a one time thing. It isn't a light switch you turn on. This is a lifestyle, I am finding out. You'll fall off the horse. You just need to get back on.
