Everything here was supposed to disappear. Banned subreddits, deleted communities, cancelled blogs — much of what is archived here survives nowhere else.

It stays free — no paywall, no account — for the next man who comes looking, the way it was free for you.

I pay for the servers, the storage and the bandwidth myself. If you want this record still standing in ten years, become one of the people who keeps it online.

There's a tremendous difference between being a NiceGuy™ and being polite/strong and silent; that difference is having a spine.

NiceGuys™ are grovelling, sycophantic wimps. They're nice to a fault. Rather than following their own urges, they defer themselves to the whims of other people. This is the paradox of NiceGuys™ because they are bother eager to serve and resent you for your demanding of them. Sure they're nice/polite on the outside, but on the inside they're passive aggressive cunts.

They strong and silent type, like NiceGuys™ are polite and courteous to people, yet they know how to say the almighty word, NO. If they don't want to do it, NO. If it conflicts with their values, NOPE. If they see that they're blatantly being used, GTFO.

There's no need to be an outright dick, just a need to be honest with yourself and knowing when to say NO.

Personally, I see manners as a sign of class. If people demonstrate that they can't show me basic, common courtesies, why the hell should I associate myself with them. Chest thumping "alphas" and grovelling wimps equally turn me off. The man who is confident in himself and shows basic civility is a good man to me.

Nice guy syndrome is not holding frame and letting others do things to you that you do not tolerate.

No. I'm the silent type as well, and if something reaches the point where I have to intervene, you can bet your ass everybody pays attention.

Manners exist for a reason. Without some form of manners humans would have destroyed ourselves long ago. Not everyone agrees on how those manners look but the fact remains that people need to act correctly.

As an alpha, your manners become an asset. You expect a level of conduct and will brook no nonsense to the contrary. But your manners also become a tool for putting someone at ease.

As a beta, manners make you a polite BB.

The manners themselves are neither bad nor good. Since you are proficient at using that tool, your manners become an extension of your alpha self.
