Hey r/theredpill,
Like many on this sub, I was raised to take the blue pill. I watched lots of Disney movies when I was younger, and for the most part was raised by my mother. All my relationships with girls have been failures, and today, I am consoled only by knowing the cause why (thanks TRP). My father, who is a classic example of beta bux, but is still a financially independent and successful guy. My uncle is the same way. In the workplace, they are no-nonsense leaders, but at home they are always order takers to their wives. From what I've learned on this sub, my aunt and my mom will always crave the attn of an alpha (which is why my mom is reading FSOG). However, their religiosity keeps them bound.
In my mind, religion is undoubtedly a successful tool at creating submissive women and dominating men (with exception to extreme Protestantism, which makes both genders pussies). In this respect, the advantages religion provides are advantageous to society because it complies with what is biologically true (in terms of red pill philosophy). If only god were real, then I'd happily jump on board :)
My question is this: with all of these things considered, why as Red Pill men do we not adopt religion as a means to pushing our same end by creating a society where men are the way we are supposed to be and women are the way they are supposed to be?
As a misanthropically jaded individual, I feel like religion is the only thing that could possibly keep women in check. I believe this to be historically and empirically true.
Machiavelli said that the most important thing in life is for other people to think you are religious. Tell me, am I on to something here, or am I way off the mark?
