I think it might some sort of a cruel joke. Maybe she has her friends laughing listing to the conversation. I'm sorry but girls are very passive when it come to sex most of the time and they even throw up fake little road blocks so they won't feel like a slut the first few times you both do it.

On the flip side she could just be depressed and need some validation. Its a long shot but if you feel like taking the risk of going somewhere just to be stood up and look stupid then go for it.
