Mass sort of put an end to permanent alimony a few years back. That was good.

The starting position for residential child custody needs to be 50/50 unless There are compelling reasons to do anything else.

No major piece of legislation is ever passed unless it's a big sloppy wet kiss to the special interest group that wrote it. Keep dreaming if you think s system that rewards states, counties and judges with cash incentives from the federal government to order child support is ever going to change. Lock men up for child support? More money in the pockets of Jail Inc. This country is waging a war on men. Fight or flight? See the reference material on /r/killmarriage

It's my original quote. Extreme you say? After the banking bailouts? Saving the GM union jobs for votes? Excusing the oil fracking companies from EPA standards? Vietnam? All the bogus wars? Mandatory insurance coverage? You think those special interest groups and politicians are acting on behalf of a disorganized unrepresented public? Please. Spin doctors. It's a field of it's own.

Well when you consider over 100,000 men in Texas alone are locked up for non payment of child support on children not even theirs, about 2 million men nationwide, despite DNA tests, thanks to the Presume Father's Act, no fault divorce, marijuana prohibition, and more, what would one conclude? Yeah, it's a war on men. The US has the highest incarceration rate. The War on Drugs is code for the war on men. Women's rights is code for marry them or impregnate them and lose your rights. When they say our troops are fighting for our freedom, that's code for we support Israel so we can keep the war machine (a.k.a. cash machine) moving at the expense of men's lives.
