A female friend of mine has been passive aggressively texting me for the last week or so. I don't know what the reason is, but she started initiating conversations that quickly/immediately led to one word questions and responses like "why?" and "oh" and "wow." Initially this didn't bother me. Until it started to seem like she was trying to provoke me into either validating her or to tear my confidence down. Keep in mind I just started reading this sub. I wasn't sure how to respond to this passive aggression, so I followed some advice I found here. I withdrew myself from the situation by not responding to one word messages from her. This pissed her off so she said, "I'm done with you, have a great day and a great weekend, Cuze" I also did not respond to this.

So the question is this, if I otherwise enjoy her company and she is usually a positive influence on me (motivating and supportive of what I do) what should I do? If there is a way to preserve my dignity and maintain a friendship with her, that would be optimal.
