It stays free — no paywall, no account — for the next man who comes looking, the way it was free for you.

Society wants you as a docile puppy under the leash of consumerism and feminism, brainwashed by the media to see your slavery as a utopia.

The lone wolf is the result.

I'll be thinking of this between sets at the gym tonight... Good post tel-net

this is exactly how I've been feeling the past few years. The business goals I want to achieve are very, very different than what my family/mom (mega feminist...just realizing that now) have in mind, and when I make friends with differing opinions, whether it be with regards to drug use, business plans, or life philosophies, get immediately labelled as 'bad people.'

It's just that in 40 years, most of my current family will be gone. That's less than double my current life. And in 80 years, most likely I'll be gone, so why do the opinions of others impact me so much??

Whenever I have these heated disucssions with my close family about not wanting to take a career job and start my own thing (I'm beyond the 'dream boy' state that most kids are about business), I tend to end up in the 'I'll be dead soon' argument. And I don't say it to be dramatic, or negative, or even shut down the argument. But then I get labelled as being selfish...dramatic...you get the idea.

I'm realizing now that as I'm writing this response to the article that I'm just afraid of going against their opinion, and need to value my own opinion and life decisions more and more, and surround myself with those who have the life I want to live.

Shit...talk about self therapy right there. Great post, glad someone else is writing about this.

I agree with this blog post, but, I've noticed that if it weren't for the red pill tag prior to reading some things, I'd think that they were written by a narcissist emo-teen. I mean, waking up and becoming your own man and taking control of your life is wonderful and all, but I think expounding on it over the internet, seeking validation or assurance from the choir you're preaching to, that you're a part of, is something betas do who have recently woken up and aren't alphas yet, maybe they haven't even begun mimicking yet.

I'd prefer to read a lot more anecdotes, or stories, of someone using the red pill to improve their life, rather than give hollow tips and advice on the most obvious and inane topics. I like to read productivity tips as much as the next guy wasting time on the net, but the red pill should probably be more than self-help bullet points or emotional appeals. Tell me more about that girl who responds to your look in the gym now that you're standing tall and firm, or, relate to me how your girlfriend has stopped shit testing you and how you overcame that, along with a funny story of some stupid response she gave you.

This is not to say that I know exactly what the red pill should emphasize, as much more intelligent and thoughtful commentators and bloggers have already covered volumes of anecdotes and analysis long before I typed this, but rather a slew of self-help tips seems to reflect, at least to me, a decline in the intellectual longevity of the movement.
