Agreed. I rarely had success until I employed it. Krauser is a hack. His interview on that one radio show was great, I thought I found another Roosh... Boy was I wrong. He whines incessantly on his blog about "luck" and "logistics" when he is in fact just going to random far away countries on visits to "number farm" instead of gaming anything local... Obviously he will constantly run into logistics issues. From my perspective it appears he only has success by playing the numbers game on girls that speak very broken english until he finds a yes girl.

I feel like a lot of these risk a "uh... why are you telling me this?" or worse, "why are you talking to me" response, but I may be wrong, or it may just be particular to my region...

You may simply be wrong. Any man's intuitive feelings on how women will respond to male behaviors are highly suspect until you actively practice alpha behavior for a while and retrain your intuition to match observed reality.

On the other hand, even if you do get the response you're predicting, what that probably means is that the woman was not interested in/ looking forward to hearing from you. You didn't build enough attraction during your initial encounter and you have a dud number in your phone. In that case, a negative response tells you "delete this number and do better next time", which is very useful feedback.
