If you lift to obtain women, you have already failed. It is about improving oneself. Also, I've never seen a user here spend thousands of dollars on pick up classes. That's the PUA sub. "Risking your life by taking drugs"? That's the steroid sub. "They get you to pay for all the shit"? No, the check is split 50/50. Educate yourself ya fool.

I think a lot of guys think lifting is the golden ticket, but a strong body does not make a strong mind. Even if a guy is physically very strong, he can succumb to beta mental behavior. Being physically fit can get you in the door, but sometimes your mind needs to play a hard game after that.

I'm not a troll (sorry if it came through that way). I agree with majority of TRP philosophy, it is just this one thing that I have a hard time understaning.

I say this from experience, I have known friends who have completely changed, gone into body building, bro culture because they were getting no attention from girls. And they say now they are alpha because chicks dig their big ripped bodies.

One of the main factors that draw people here is to get chicks. Building a better body, social circle and career are their attempts at getting the girls they couldn't before. This is half correct.

Instead of doing it to get laid, you should do it because it benefits you. The goal should be to better your life first and the girls are the bonus like a performance bonus you get at work when rake in the bucks.
