You might enjoy reading Sigmund Freud's "Civilization and It's Discontents".

His thesis is that human beings naturally desire to satisfy their urge to experience pleasure, but if all people did was satisfy their urge to experience pleasure, their behavior would make civilized society impossible. This is because civilizations function only insofar as people are willing to do things that are not pleasurable.

For example, getting fucked all the time is pleasurable, but if everybody in your civilization spent all their time fucking, there would be nobody left to build the roads, clean the streets, and do the taxes. If nobody in your civilization builds roads, cleans streets, or does taxes, you don't have much of a civilization do you? More like a big pile of people fucking in a heap.

Therefore, the natural desire to satisfy the urge to experience pleasure is directly opposed to the values and duties inherent in any civilized society. In order for civilization function, people have to repress, or have repressed, their natural desire to satisfy their urge to experience pleasure. The obvious outcome is discontent. People love to eat, but hate to wash the dishes.

You said it yourself, "humanity putting aside it's biological instincts in favor of building a stable civilization with law and order", but I wanted to add that, according to Freud, this is why civilized people are discontent. Presumably we'd all rather be fucking in a heap.

As for your question about the universal applicability of TRP, it's important to remember that TRP is just a convenient title for something that would still exist even if people weren't talking about it on Reddit. For thousands and thousands of years the theory of plate tectonics was unknown to human science, but that doesn't mean that plate tectonics only started happening when people started to notice it.

That said, it seems like you have it backwards. In societies that have yet to be sexually liberated and feminized, and especially those societies that are less technologically advanced, the value of a strong male who can reliably provide resources to his offspring must be astonishingly high. A primitive tribal society living in the jungle may have far more elaborate courtship rituals, and even more repression of the individual in favour of the group, but you can bet that if he's not bringing home the bacon he isn't worth much to a woman looking to produce children.

To me, what would confirm the universality of TRP isn't if it still works in primitive societies, but if it still works in materially rich technologically advanced highly feminized sexually liberated civilizations with decadent cultures. As many of us have found, even in such troublesome conditions as ours, TRP still works like a charm. Decades of permissive, effeminate, liberal feminism haven't even made a dent.

Can confirm, it works in eastern countries too. The thing about TRP is that it works on how women are, and they are almost always the same bunch of pre programmed actions. They all hamster. Mu thinking is that pre-industrial revolution, women were treated as property. Marriage was a purchase more than anything else. It's only been since the 50s where it was even possible to legally rape your wife. Husbands were allowed to fuck any whore they saw fit. "Cheating" was considered only something a wife could do - true in the Bible, BTW. A dowry was given with a bride because for most men of means, taking a wife was seen as a huge crock of shit. The mating game is hardwired by nature and not a cultural achievement.

These families were so successful because of the females having been dependent on protection and provision by a male. When they wanted to leave the family they faced loosing both plus maybe even their children.

This has changed with alimony, child support and custody laws. Today a female has not got much to loose besides the husband, which she doesn't value any more anyways. In fact she will even gain many things.

TRP is based on evolutionary biology so it is world-wide. However, some countries have far fewer women who respond to 'asshole' dominance and dark triad than in the metro-sexual West where there is a hunger for and a lack of strong, masculine men.
