I write notes like these when they occur to me, I thought I would share this one because why not.

Life is not a competition though it is a game and though you may compete. To feel life is a competition is to believe resources are limited, that you are limited. And that belief is self-confirming. You can't know how far you can go without travelling unlit paths. And those who stick to well travelled roads are never themselves well travelled.

Scarcity is in the eye of the beholder and to behold scarcity is to behold rivalry, animosity, and misery. When you envy others it means you believe what you desire is outside your control and for you to have someone else must have not. This is not so,in fact it is the reverse, those who have suggest it may be more feasible to have. Nor is having itself necessarily important. Having and not having both serve a higher purpose. The greatest men were forged in adversity.
