Based on a true story.

I remember a time when I was 18. I loved a girl who I thought was so fresh and so clean. She had me under her spell, and I loved her till no end. But she broke my heart forever, when she said "lets just be friends."

She had plenty of offers, there were always guys around. She would always picked the bad boys, and let them take her to town. I was shy, chubby and awkward, like the nice guy in the songs. But I was determine to change things, to prove her choices wrong.

Now 10 years later and things have turned around. Her looks are kinda fading, and she is gaining a few pounds. I have change immensely, I'm not the boy I use to be. I'm become the man I've always wanted, a success for all to see.

Now all of the sudden, her attitude has changed. She started to notice me, I was now in her range. I received a call one day, a surprise out of the blue. "Do you still love me, were the words you said to me true?"

I looked at her smiling, examining her up and down. That once pretty face, which has now become quite round. I can now see clearly, a sad woman with a double chin. A woman losing her power, and desperation creeping in.

So I told her bluntly, and this was the truth. "I never noticed before, but you have a buck tooth." "But that never mattered, I would have loved you till the world ends." "It was you remember, who decided we can only be friends."

"So now that you've had your fun, you're looking to settle down." "With a guy like me, who you think will provide and stay around." "But guess what lady, I don't play that game no more." "I'm done treating you like a princess, when I should treat you like a whore."
