As a man who is entering a state of peak SMV, I am constantly bombarded with opportunities for tail even while in a relationship. This is especially true because if you're in your peak SMV as a man, and you're dating someone even a few years younger than you, you can bet your top dollar she has used her SMV peak to its fullest already. Pre-emptive cheating on you while you worked your way up the ladder to the alpha level. Now that you're here, you're expected to NOT use your peak to its full potential? I laugh at the thought.
