Because I want children and want them raised in a healthy environment. Redpill is teaching me how to vet properly. Basically, never trust her words only her actions.

I didn't imply to raise the children in a religious environment. I just prefer my future wife to have some inner restraints and religion does that quite nicely.

I want children but don't want divorce.

It's based entirely on college freshmen in Kentucky and Florida, and it looks like bullshit. You can argue this point philosophically, plenty do, but this study is shit.

I don't think the conclusion is obvious. Dalrock is in the sidebar for a reason. If we find an example of religion feminizing men, we should ask "Is that all religions? Or alternatively, have some branches of some religions become feminized, and hence feminize men?"

One of the comments to the blog post rightly notes that radical Islam doesn't seem to turn guys into pussys :)

Well, that's a fair point, though I still think the widely-known religions (christianity, judaism, buddhism, most of islam, etc.) do feminize men. For the theistic religions, what's more beta than groveling before an imaginary man? Lol looks like a metaphorical deified cuckolding, in Joseph's case it was literal! ;)

Well, that's a good point, gotta give props since some muslims believe in polygamy, so I admit it's pretty hard not to admit that isn't unplugged. But on the other hand, radical islam also sends a lot of men to go kill themselves for the religion. How weak is that, to be so servile as to take yourself out of the genepool (with no proof btw that any of it is real)?

But sincerely, TRP is about sexual strategy, and people need different strategies for the different goals they have. You want to bang a shitload of women, some guys want to have a wife and family. Studying gender/sex relations from a realist standpoint doesn't need to be exclusive to a particular goal or lifestyle or philosophy. I don't think anyone is going to convince anyone else of atheism/theism/deism on this forum, it'll just lead to the same shit-slinging you can find everywhere else on the internet where people with substantially different beliefs bitch at each other.

I dunno about religion in general, but Christianity certainly does. I mean, the whole religion is based off of worshipping a guy who ended up allowing himself to be crucified. c.f. Friedrich Nietzsche.
