The other day, I was reading about Nietzsche's theory of Slave Morality versus Master Morality, and I realized that I had to share it. In Nietzsche's view, Master Morality is what is good and noble - that which is ascribed to by those who are strong-willed. Master morality looks at consequences over intentions, dealing with absolutely zero bullshit. Ideals that characterize Master morality are very similar to ideals in RP, like Loyalty, Honor, Trust, and Self-Worth.

Slave Morality, on the other hand, is BP as fuck. Slave morality looks at intentions rather than consequences. Rather than Self-Worth, Slave Morality seeks validation, rather than loyalty and trust, it seeks out utility. Slave morality is the morality that favors comfort over nobility; the collective over the individual. While Masters travel through life unapologetically, the Slaves must always apologize for themselves, as they must always be concerned with the opinions of others. Where the master walks through life like he owns it, the slave walks through life like it owns him.

Don't be a slave, be a master.
