This is my first post on TRP. I've been a lurker for at least 2 years now and have yet to contribute anything of significance but I feel as if my most recent relationship has brought about something to offer here. I could be wrong more or less. If people perceive it to be useless or otherwise than so be it. I'm just here to learn, improve, help. Providing value in the form of a post is the least I can do.

First things first, I broke some major red flags knowingly and willingly. I believe I showed too many beta tendencies to this broad, not that I am unaware of the hypergamous nature of woman but because I had to test the hamster wheel with my own two eyes. And boy does that wheel spin.

22 Year old male, senior year in college. Rewind 3 months ago. Spinning plates off of tinder up at college during the semester. There is another school about 30 miles from here with girls that I usually match with. Near the end of November I started talking to a girl from said school.

That was my first message. A few days later she replied asking if I was from the same area (which is about 7 hours away, pretty rare). I figured this would be a good chick to have around for winter break to have some fun with. Fast forward two weeks. We go out to eat, bring her to my friends new apartment he just moved into, eventually head back to my place and do the dirty deed.

From here on out, we continue to talk and see each other over break. Eventually I find out she comes from a wealthy background while I'm the polar opposite. Now I'm interested. She invites me to go back to her school with her for new years eve and spend the weekend there. I have no other plans so i figured I'd go. Eventually on the ride back she has begs me to call her my girlfriend and I do.

  • Lesson 1: Don't be a commitment slut, especially to a tinder girl

I figured she comes from a good financial background, great looking girl, and I can still enjoy my time with her at school. You fucked up Derive1334. You knew exactly what you were getting yourself into. Seeing this girl for a month and deciding to wife her? Tinder fuck on the first night? But the entire time I wasn't blind to what I was doing. I knew it was a bad idea, but something told me to do it anyway and take this girl out for a ride to see how far down the rabbit hole goes.

We still fucked like rabbits the entire break, spending usually 3 nights of the week together. I start to learn a little more about her background and find out her parents are divorced, she sees a psychiatrist, used to suffer from anorexia, prescribed anti-depressants, and many more red flags.

  • Lesson 2: If it walks like a duck and swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, It must be a duck

Red flags start popping up more and more, yet I'm still enjoying the winter break and disregarding them.

Fast forward and we are back at school. I start telling myself that this could work out, I'll just make her drive to me as much as I go there. Thats fair right? Knew that wouldn't work out. We see each other once a week for the past few weeks. I ended up going full blown beta. She was mad that I provided sorority girls with mixers in my room, I apologize. I send her flowers for our 1 month anniversary. Bring her out to dinner for valentines day while getting her gifts. I broke frame. I saw the warnings signs from a mile away and still headed full force into the brick wall.

This past weekend I just got a job bouncing at a local college bar. She wasn't happy about it. She starts texting me less and gives me warnings signs of her weaning away. Tell tale sign that she is out looking for other alpha cock (which I'm sure she had).

I might have seen this coming but don't play me for a fool. I followed suit

First night working girlfriend isn't texting me back all night (needy behavior, acting beta), makes up excuses blah blah. She's riding some other fuckboy's dick I'm sure at this point.

But luckily this new job has some perks. Girl approaches me as soon as the night starts and tells me her friend dared her to makeout with me. College sluts. After I help her out I tell her ass to scurry. Later on in the night she comes up to me asking for my number. Fucking easy pickings.

  • Lesson 3: Never lose abundance mentality no matter what happens

Knowing that you are an attractive guy that can pull girls will easily help any situation you've been put in. Unfortunately, I fell into the beta trap with tinder girl cause of her background, looks, and education. Her SMV clearly out shined mine at this point in my life

The next day girlfriend is acting extremely strange, I assume she fucked someone the night before and is having a hard time comprehending it in her head. I interview her about her night and her stories are mismatching. What a surprise. Let that hamster spin baby.

I'm not having it anymore. I hit up the girl from the night before, land a nice money shot right on her face and shortly leave thereafter.

Today girlfriend is still acting strange distancing herself. I know whats coming. Call her later on and she says how she is stressed out and can't handle this right now blah blah. Whatever. Wish I could've hit it one more time but on to the next.

It was quite a learning experience. Although I showed beta tendencies, I knew what was behind the curtain the entire time. And if it wasn't for TRP i wouldn't have been able to mentally or emotionally handle what had happened. But the Pill strikes true no matter what you tell yourself. I suppose I needed to see it truly first hand with a "LTR" to test it out.

A Few Lessons Learned:

  1. Don't throw away your commitment so easily. That's the one value you can provide that she is looking to take.

  2. Tinder, strictly for hookups. I've you have been gagging on swallowing the pill and want to wife a girl up from tinder, you'll have your own post on here too.

  3. Fucking red flags dude. They are key indicators if you want a slut to fuck or even a potential plate. But LTR? Don't set yourself up for failure.

  4. Abundance is key. I put myself in a position to if she walked away, I would still be able to walk away relatively unscathed with other options.

I'm not saying i'm the most alpha dude around yet, but this is just one more step in my personal journey to getting there.
