Lift.
Pretty hard to hate yourself when you're shaking, breathing hard for that last rep.
Or when you're sore and recovering for your next workout, progress and goals in mind.
Or when you're looking in the mirror and mirin' those sweet, sweet gains.

Self-doubt prevents most men to lift and fuels the loathing. It's a vicious mental system.

Fair point. I made the assumption that one would meet their goals. If one fails in a set, are intimidated by the big guys at the gym, or don't meet one's goals, people who already hate themselves would do so even more.
In the end, the answer would be to meditate. No music, no distractions. It's like couple counseling by locking them in a room together - meditate, find who you are and why you hate yourself. Try to come to terms that you are who you are - a flawed human trying to improve. You'll find that who you are is very, very fluid and subject to change.

It would be prudent to others' progress to lay out some ways to begin adopting a DGAF mindset.

IDGAF does not invite care. Care is learned.

I think I agree, for people like me,self loathing was a major part of my almost omega mindset until I adopted an IDGAF ideology and it has helped me a lot in my slow ascent into an alpha mindset..

Still installing this mindset in my head. I want to be able to walk anywhere and not give two fucks what ANYONE thinks. Sometimes I relapse into that BETA mindset and have to adjust myself accordingly.

Shorter-ass body: Get comfortable laughing at yourself.

Doubting yourself leads to not loving yourself because you stop giving yourself enough credit and sell yourself short. You stop believing in yourself and thats where things like fear of failure build because you would rather do nothing and say you didn't fail and not have a chance to give yourself shit instead of trying and facing failure and "allowing" that self talk to occur. You have to realize that its just a thought/idea that is holding you back from everything you want and if you change that by countering it with positive self talk (in your head), regardless of the out come of the task, you can push your own self perceived limits.
If you can't love yourself, how can you truly love others?

self-loathing is a powerful tool if you know how to use it.

Yes, it can be. But it's also dangerous and can lead to negative consequences very quickly. Positives outlooks and motivations are almost always better in the long run.
