Looking for a little advice on shit test response. Results are pretty good, but there's always room for improvement right?

So every time she says something retarded or disrespectful (enough to make me too mad to just laugh and walk away), I respond by cutting her off (can't stand that fuckin rant, man) with a raised voice (not yelling, more like bold text in speech), something to just end the conversation immediately. Nothing mean, usually "yea" or "sure". Word choice might seem off if you're reading it, but i get the message across that it's a no, and I'm not fuckin talkin about it. It shuts the conversation down, and she pouts, then a half hour or so later the whole issue disappears.

Is that a good strategy? What would be better? Shit just never ends lol. I love being in an ltr, dinc life is fucking incredible, and sex is great, but having to do the same fucking arguments every couple weeks, win, lose, it don't fuckin matter, this shit goes jesus mode and just comes right back from the god damn dead.

You ltr bros, is there any strategy to just kill the fuckin hydra? Or slow the rebirth? I'll deal with whatever if I have to, but what's life for if not improvement?
