I've been on OkCupid for awhile, and during my exchanges with women, I've begun to notice a trend.

Basically, when I message a girl, I keep it as witty and light-hearted as possible -- or 'fun', to put it simply. They seem to respond well to this. However, during the back-and-forth, I'll often notice that the girl will attempt to "break" the flow of the conversation by asking some boring ass question about what I studied in school, or something. It seems like if I answer one of these questions directly, the girl will stop replying! It's bizarre, but it's happened to me multiple times now.

I'm almost starting to think it's some sort of shit test -- as in, she wants to see if you can maintain control of the conversation instead of allowing her to steer it towards mundane bullshit.
