Something that isn't talked about as often as it should be is that handling shit tests is more about demeanor than verbal response. How you say it is more important than what you say.

Agree and Amplify is touted as always being effective because of its ridiculous nature. An example in this situation would be "Yes, infact I scheduled 10 seconds of missing you in on Wedneday" she will reply with "Only 10 seconds!?" and you can say "Thats 10 WHOLE seconds don't be greedy"

The point of agree and amplify is that it not only avoids the original question, but allows for playful banter by creating a sarcastic situation. If someone says "You're getting fat" you say "Yes, and I'm moving to Japan to become a Sumo wrestler". The original hurtful intent of "You're getting fat" is now a conversation about Japan or sports. The emotional, reactionary, or defensive response that comment tested for was completely avoided. If your responses are never any of those 3, you will always pass a shit test.
