I am not prepared to believe anything in that blog post because it is unsourced and is in direct opposition to a book that I read named The Selling of the President by Joe McGinnis.
Joe McGinnis was granted direct access to President Nixon and close associates to write that book. He was a journalist and this book was subject to fact checking and actual printing by a publisher. Now McGinnis was a conservative, so I am not discounting bias.
But McGinnis' first hand descriptions of Nixon, and Nixon's confidant's descriptions of Nixon, contradict much of what is written here regarding Nixon's personality around people.
I also recognize McGinnis was trying to sell Nixon as a president, but there are many anecdotes and stories in the book that show Nixon to be anything but shy or "beta". In my opinion, no one gets to be president without being the top of the top dogs, despite what any presidential critic says. It's just too hard to luck into.

Beta?
Duke law school, World War II naval officer, elected to Congress at 33, US Senate at 35, Vice President at 39, came back from two defeats (for President in 1960, and humiliatingly for Governor of California in 1962) to be elected President in 1968 and re-elected in the largest landslide in history in 1972. Fucked up with Watergate, but still managed another 20 years as a rich and influential elder statesman.

Being beta doesn't equal lack of success aka presidency. Many betas thrust themselves into dangerous situations to prove themselves brave aka war.
But this doesn't take away that he friended his way into marriage with his wife who most likely got railroaded by the alphas Nixon drove her to date. And for gods sake he proposed on the first date. If that's not a creepy beta move I don't know what is.

If by beta you mean high functioning sociopath and dark triad as fuck then yeah, sure, Nixon was so beta. /s
If it weren't for the clusterfuck that was watergate Nixon would have been remembered as one of the greatest recent Presidents of the United States.

Alpha = Leader
Like him or not the POTUS is alpha by default.
Alpha – Leader. Somebody who displays high value, or traits that are valued by women. Alpha can refer to a man who exhibits alpha behaviors (more alpha tendancies than beta), but usually used to describe individual behaviors themselves

Can Obama have sex with a 21 year old 10/10 supermodel if he wanted to with out any real effort?
Alpha is not good or bad it just means that people follow him and women want to sleep with him. Hitler and Stalin were alphas.
