Before I left town to stay with my mom for 2 weeks I met this girl at where she works and attempted to get her to go out with me that night, she was willing but we couldn't because she had class late and all the ice cream spots (which we decided on for a date) were closed after 10. We rescheduled but that depended on if her class got out early that night which it didn't. I told her to hmu whenever she had taken care of everything on her side because I wasn't trying to spread myself thin though I am attracted to her. She finally did get back to me but the night before I had to fly out to see my mom where I'll be till August 5th. I told her to wait for me which she said she would. First two days she messaged me and we had a short convo through Snapchat which I barely use but anyways that wasn't to bad.

I don't want to be in to much contact with her because I want it so that when we do go out we at least have a bit to talk about but at the same time I'm worried at the fact that she'll see it as a lack of interest on my part and categorize me as someone who doesn't give a damn about her.

Ladies and guys who have been in this kind of scenario what're your thoughts and words of advice on my situation?
