The main message of the post should be in the first 4 lines. That way, we can connect with and influence more readers when it shows up in their feed.

Wanted to make a suggestion on improving posts and achieving a higher penetration rate with the philosophy and intention of your post.

I'm new to this sub & Reddit in general, so don't know how close to home or effective this will be.

From what I've seen we can categorize the posts on here into rants, field reports, or "philosophy tutorials". All have in common that there is always a good message, and I can walk away with a "this is what I'm doing, and this is what I should be doing / work towards."

Unfortunately, as a casual Reddit user who subs to other, more guilty pleasure type subs, when scrolling through the feed I find myself rarely having the motivation or time to open up and read an entire redpill essay, albeit the title is always intriguing.

However, I always hope to grasp at the gist of the content - the lesson or how I need to change my behavior - from the first 4 lines that display in the feed. But these lines are always disappointing; they typically go something like, "I'd like to start by saying that I'm a beta and I go to school, etc, etc."

What I'm trying to get to, is that while the context is important, it does not belong in such prime real estate.

We've got 200,000 people that we have a chance to connect with, and the message you're sending is that "you're a white male, an engineer, and went on tinder." Consider, instead, "It can be easy to have sex on tinder. Message 'this and that', then do this and that. Boom! Then go into detail below.

This is unnatural because it is not how we think about the order of the story. It is not a "logical" layout, and probably impacts the aesthetics of a well organized man-post. So this is something we should work to overcome / improve on so we can connect with and influence many more with our message.

I'd like to conjecture that this 'skip the read' phenomena is true for a large part of the redpill population, but is especially adverse to noobs and those that have not fully bought into the theory, as they are more likely to skip the read and miss the message.

Anyway, hope it's not just me who's a lazy asshole.

PS if this is adopted we can track the effectiveness by comparing the average number of upvotes before and after adoption.
