It's funny...

We know that organisms of different species compete with each other (for food, water, resources, territory, etc).

We also know that organisms of the same species compete with each other (for mating privileges, dominance, and all the things listed above).

But the most mind-boggling fact - the fact that becomes clear once we swallow the Red Pill - is that...

...two members of the same species who have come together for mutual benefit will ALSO compete with each other.

For the supremacy and safety of their own genes, they will figuratively stab each other in the back while they're negotiating for their own benefit, just to get themselves more benefit.
