My husband doesn't know...

I am writing this because i want to get this off my chest so i don't have to live with perpetual guilt. Me and my husband have been married for 11 years. We have one beautiful daughter who just turned 6 and an all around great life together. Our families moved out to be around us after our daughter was born and life has been great ever since. There's only one problem: our daughter is not biologically my husband's. Worst yet, he doesn't know. No one does. Not even the man I cheated with. I never told anyone about my little secret. I did not cheat for the reasons most women normally would. I cheated only with the intention of getting pregnant. Why would i do this you might ask? Well, when i was in grad school i met this guy who was in my class and was instantly attracted to him like never before. I was 30 at the time and he was 26. Nothing came of it right away even though I tried my best to put signals out there letting him know I was interested. Finally after about 3 years I talked him into coming over one night while my husband was away on business. I purposely did not wear my ring and told him that we were separated. After all, he knew my husband and had hung out with us before and I felt like he wouldn't go through with it otherwise. I did not get pregnant that night. It took several tries over a period of several months which was really hard to pull off because he could only come over when my husband was out of town otherwise he would know I was not separated from my husband. You see my husband is a great guy, a great provider, and he makes a lot more money than this other guy. But the other guy is far better looking, a lot more intelligent, more outgoing personality and is my type exactly. I don't think he would make a very good father though and he definitely would not make a better provider than my husband. I felt like this was the best thing possible I could do for my future child if I wanted to give her The Best of Both Worlds. This way she could have the best genes possible and be the best looking and most healthy and most intelligent she could possibly be while also having the most Financial advantages throughout her life and a guaranteed stable father figure who would always be there. Despite my husband being a great guy he has never been a great looking guy and I just did not want to put my future child through potentially being bullied or having low self-esteem because of her looks or not able to excel in school because of average intelligence. I know what I did was extremely selfish on the one hand, but on the other, I was doing it for the best interest of my child. Still, I feel bad about it sometimes whenever I see how much my husband loves her and how much she loves him and that I'm the only one who knows that he is not really her father. Sometimes I want to tell him but I could never do this because it would kill him. What if he left me and my daughter had to grow up in a broken home. What if my husband left us and did not have to pay child support bc he is not really the father and she had to grow up in a single mother home and be poor (I don't work)? That would not be fair to her either. At the end of the day I'm all alone with this Secret which is why I'm telling everyone right now. I'm not looking for advice. I'm simply just wanting to vent. I'm sure some people will not be able to understand why I did this and will think that I'm really selfish but hopefully some people will also understand what I mean by the idea that i did it because I had the best interest of the child at heart. And as you can see hopefully, I was right. I cannot imagine a child more beautiful who could be more happy and have a better life. A woman is supposed to reproduce wisely and I feel like that is exactly what I have done.
