Happy Memorial Day, TRP!

I've enjoyed the interaction on this subreddit. I can't get this sort of interaction anywhere else on the internet, and I've definitely tried.

I'm eventually going to start writing about women and relationships, but the vast amount of ideas I have are spilling over the sides. All in due time.

My latest entry is about breaking out of the slump, forever. It's personal to me, because I spent a long time not being true to myself. I had to become my own biggest fan and live in a way that was honest to my values. This entry breaks that down, and most importantly, it talks about discarding the toxic friends who shit on your efforts to change or do better.

I think TRP is great because it offers a group of people all interested in self-actualization. I've had friends in real life who weren't remotely on board with me trying to be better or go my own way. I think that's because when you live well, it displays to your friends how they could be if they just tried, and they resent that.

As an aside, since it is Memorial Day, if you really want to help a veteran out, don't post righteously indignant photos on Facebook or whatever. Do something to really help out. Donate to the wounded warrior project, assist with veterans' healthcare, or just cook them a meal. The VA is really shitting the bed more and more, leaving a lot of veterans in a bad way with no indication of that changing.
