A cunning church girl who hides behind “god”. Need some assist.

What’s up G’s I [M24] am in a bit of a bind and I would like some assistance. 5 yrs ago I traveled to study abroad and now ( atm ) I am back in my native land. Before I left my country I knew this girl, Yvonne, [F23] from church and while we were in communication, it always centered around church activities.

On 05/10/2019 I went to the church to look for her as the night before, I run into our mutual friend who mentioned that Yvonne would be glad to see me. Yea, I know! I should have swallowed more than one red pill but naaah I got too excited to reconnect with a female human who I haven’t seen/spoken to in years.

I was in church and I noticed she was part of the choir and sung well if I may add. I left church after she was done singing plus I couldn’t handle the preaching (personal reasons). I did not speak with her but I did see her. A positive confirmation that not only was she alive but in a good state of mind ( atm ).

Her image was burned in my mind but her unique single voice did not accompany it and so I was back in church on 12/10/2019. Long story short, we interacted, exchanged numbers and have been talking till today when she tried to insinuate that I have been lying to her about my adventures abroad. She would ask for specific dates, months and location of the stories I narrated to her. Which actually came up as a result of her asking questions. Females!!

Whenever I would ask her a question she would refer to the bible and god which got extremely boring for me and I stopped asking about her life...yea, god. Some questions she would flat out refuse to answer and a “No” was enough on her part. The audacity she had to continue interrogating me after her “no” response was just unbelievable. It’s all good though, your boy got nothing to hide.

From our conversations, she’s so open and wiling to share fables of the bible but whenever I want to share the works of Carl Jung regarding the unconscious mind ( or basically any works regarding the human condition), she would get into a fit, snarl and make undesirable noises. WTF!!

I went to the extent of showing her pics of the women I have been intimate with while traveling to( Mexican, Swede, Korean, American) their respective countries but that seemed to have ‘angered’ her. SMH

My logic dictates that I should cut off communication and be a passive participant in her life while my “ bloody feelings” dictate that I should be patient with her as she has not taken full accountability of her life but instead chooses to place it to a “higher power”. I understand religion is important but doesn’t it become like a story similar to Santa and fairies at some point !?

I can not and will not be the one who leads her from her garden of Eden. It is until the unconscious mind becomes conscious, it will interpret everything happening around it as a manifestation of “fate”.
