This has been on the sidebar for too long to be excused. Any post that doesnt meet the requirements should be removed immediately. There should be an automod script that looks for the word 'summary' (including the bold) in the first line and if it isn't found, automod removes the post and sends an automated message stating they didn't follow the format requirements + a link to the post on the sidebar.

People need to understand presentation is half the post. I have a private sub for this very purpose. It's especially important when your post is long. If you segment and space things properly while bolding critical points periodically, it gives the reader a mental break from the visual repetition. Your post could be a wall of gold, but without good formatting, it feels like a wall of text.

One Exception: A rant. However, there is never an exception to not use paragraphs.

/u/bsutansalt, since you made the post, you should include the template made by op and place it on top of the visual example.

This is good. There are rules.

Worse offenders are the crap quality posts where the OP doesn't add value to the discussion. They only relate a FR without discussing theory or they post how awesomely RP some piece of fiction is (a no no).
