When I was a teen I was gender confused because I didn't fit the female stereotype. Sexism was prevalent in my high school as well and I didn't see myself as less so didn't identify as it. Online I would say I was male and noticed I was treated better and could be myself. I realised it was wrong though, to give men credit for my mind. It would be like telling other women that someone like me can't be a woman; I should be a role model instead. I didn't want to reinforce gender stereotypes. It feels like women can't win. Studies have shown men take women more seriously when they wear flat shoes instead of heels, but still put pressure on them to dress feminine, but then mock them for it like in Legally Blonde she's seen as silly because she wears a lot of pink. That's why you don't see many frilly dresses.

What I'd like to see is gender abolished altogether so people can dress how they want and identify as their sex. I want people to stop making sexist assumptions based on how people are dressed. What I'm worried about now, is that in America this problem will amplify. How many women will want to identify as men when they're treated as second-class citizens or don't identify with the gender stereotypes patriarchy will try to push? The left made a mistake by not looking into the root causes of transgenderism, because I'm sure patriarchy and sexism are to blame with the exceptions of excess hormones from the opposite sex. Now America will try to sweep this problem under the rug but it will only get worse.
