I haven't watched this show, but the guy was probably being a beta and as such the women had no respect for anything he did for them.
Women are sexual beings and instinctively recognize that interactions with them have sexual implications. The vast majority of men don't realize this and they get confused or upset at how women act. Once you realize that all interactions with women outside of your family are potentially sexual it will open your eyes to how women behave.
Anyway, dude, TV is a waste of your time and reality TV is far from real.

He should have just left them to fend for themselves rather than letting them take advantage of him. Bitxhes pull this sit all the time. They aren't the mother of his kids so he had no obligation to do shit for them.
