Analysis on the psychology of victim playing https://youtu.be/n72OJJ406WA

Some points raised:

  • A single event, such as robbery, war, plane crash, or rape, does not transform a person into a victim. It is one’s free will to surrender into the abuse-victim framework that leaves them in the perpetuating cycle driven by their own fantasy.

  • Within the abuse-victim cycle, both the self-identified abuser and the self-identified victim are driven by their victimization. While the abuser chooses to take matter in his own hands through violence, the victim seeks sympathy and subsequently perform redemptive actions as a collective.

  • To a certain degree, we all feel victimized by the deterministic nature of things, therefore we are playing the victim game.
