Roger Love's "Vocal Power" training is good.
Also there are several American English accent naturalization trainings on the torrent sites.

Yep. I am actually taking session on accent reduction (here in NYC). I have been in this country for 15 years, but I still have a slight accent and I dread the "where are you from" question, as it is often used a disqualifier (unfortunately, I am from a relatively poor country in Europe, so it is not a sexy country).
Part of it, it is learning intonation, and projection (which I lack). It has helped a lot. I am meeting with the coach/speech pathologist once a week, and I have to do some practice at home, weekly. I am not done with it, but my last two sessions will be all about projection.
A lot of the clients tend to be successful business folks, that want to get better at speaking. This is something that actors do use it all the time as well (acquire or lose a new accent, learning a way to speak, etc, depending on their roles).

Intonation and projection are what I'm looking for. My voice is pretty deep naturally, so I want to use it to project confidence.

Why do you think you have to be from a "sexy" place and get rid of your accent? I would think that would make you more interesting. This is a genuine question, I'm from the South and almost everyone here has some kind of accent, so this kind of thing never mattered to me.

I am using 'Voicing it!' and 'The perfect voice'. I am seeing good results; problem is that you may need to hire a personal voice coach at some point since being your own judge often is not enough.

Ted talk here which is pretty good. Best way to coach yourself, which I'm planning on doing, is to take a public speaking/presentation course and practice and techniques while doing.
